IT Low-Code / No-Code (LC/NC) Application Developer (Mendix)

Compensation – $58.13/hr

Location – Remote (working Arizona hours)

Duration Approximately 4-month contract (possible extension)

Job Description

Our client is seeking a contract IT Low-Code / No-Code (LC/NC) Application Developer/Tester (Mendix) to support software development. The Mendix LC/NC Developer will assist in a highly visible and time-critical application development effort, leveraging the Mendix platform to rapidly deliver secure, scalable, and user-centered solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Business Analysts (BA) with requirements gathering, system design, application development, testing, and implementation using the Mendix platform.
  • Participate in design sessions and enhance operational systems, business processes, and reports.
  • Analyze and chart existing business processes to define current-state activities.
  • Develop and document future-state business processes, including:
    • Business rules
    • Process flow diagrams
    • Inter-department workflows
  • Configure and develop Mendix applications, including:
    • Microflows and nanoflows
    • Domain models
    • UI components and pages
    • Integrations and data sources
  • Prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Perform data validation and quality assurance within Mendix applications.
  • Assist in pre-go-live testing and resolve issues.
  • Participate in status calls with clients and project teams.
  • Create and maintain project documentation.
  • Keep Scrum Master / Project Manager informed of progress, risks, and actions.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and assist with defect resolution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Low-Code / No-Code (LC/NC) platforms.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Mendix or OutSystems low-code platforms.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with JIRA for backlog management and sprint planning.
  • Experience working within Scrum teams.
  • SQL Server querying, reporting, and diagnostics.
  • Understanding of PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliance standards.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to support high-visibility, time-sensitive applications.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience with SQL databases.
