IT Low-Code / No-Code (LC/NC) Application Developer (Mendix)
Compensation – $58.13/hr
Location – Remote (working Arizona hours)
Duration Approximately 4-month contract (possible extension)
Job Description
Our client is seeking a contract IT Low-Code / No-Code (LC/NC) Application Developer/Tester (Mendix) to support software development. The Mendix LC/NC Developer will assist in a highly visible and time-critical application development effort, leveraging the Mendix platform to rapidly deliver secure, scalable, and user-centered solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assist Business Analysts (BA) with requirements gathering, system design, application development, testing, and implementation using the Mendix platform.
- Participate in design sessions and enhance operational systems, business processes, and reports.
- Analyze and chart existing business processes to define current-state activities.
- Develop and document future-state business processes, including:
- Business rules
- Process flow diagrams
- Inter-department workflows
- Configure and develop Mendix applications, including:
- Microflows and nanoflows
- Domain models
- UI components and pages
- Integrations and data sources
- Prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Perform data validation and quality assurance within Mendix applications.
- Assist in pre-go-live testing and resolve issues.
- Participate in status calls with clients and project teams.
- Create and maintain project documentation.
- Keep Scrum Master / Project Manager informed of progress, risks, and actions.
- Troubleshoot application issues and assist with defect resolution.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Low-Code / No-Code (LC/NC) platforms.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Mendix or OutSystems low-code platforms.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with JIRA for backlog management and sprint planning.
- Experience working within Scrum teams.
- SQL Server querying, reporting, and diagnostics.
- Understanding of PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliance standards.
- Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies.
- Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to support high-visibility, time-sensitive applications.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with SQL databases.
