The Iraq and Afghanistan wars have put a spotlight on military veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
But public concern about the condition isn’t new, and the attention PTSD gets can work against veterans returning to the civilian workforce.
But the veterans from our program that have been deployed to Harmonic have excelled, according to Chris Pattinson, Harmonic’s VP of Global Software Quality Assurance.
They have created efficient solutions for Harmonic, working specifically on the creation of an ultra-high-definition NASA TV channel, which launched on Nov. 10. It broadcasts shows about the agency’s space programs, including footage from the International Space Station.
