Each year on the Friday before Mother’s Day the United States celebrates Military Spouse Appreciation Day. The military spouse is often overlooked for the role they play in our United States Military. The support they provide for their loved ones defending our country is selfless and noble as it can be difficult to be separated for long periods of time during deployments.
At Sharp Decisions we proudly honor veterans and their spouses. Through our V.E.T.S.TM Program, we provide accepted U.S. veterans and veteran spouses with rigorous training, access to fair, equitable work, and the opportunity for upskilling and upward mobility.
We recognize that military spouses deal with many of the same challenges our veterans face when entering the corporate arena. Our program seeks to educate and train these strong, yet underutilized, workers so they can more easily enter the civilian workforce.
So today, we would like to take a moment to say thank you to the military spouses across America. We understand and appreciate the sacrifices that military spouses make to keep their families safe while providing comfort and stability to their loved ones in the military. It is often a thankless job to remain strong for their families while also waiting for their loved ones to return home.
